1. Scope and Nature of the Service

These terms apply to the use of the www.npe.hu information website and its public functions. The website provides information about civil-society and public-benefit activities, programmes, grants, donation opportunities and ways to contact the Association.

Merely viewing the website does not in itself create a membership, donation, agency or other contractual relationship. Such a relationship arises only through a separate express declaration or agreement.

2. Permitted Use

The website may be used for its intended purpose and for lawful purposes. In particular, it is prohibited to:

  • test the security of the website or server without authorisation, upload malicious code or disrupt operation;
  • initiate contact using another person’s name, false contact details or misleading content;
  • submit unlawful, threatening or hateful content or content that infringes the rights of others;
  • use automated requests that impose a disproportionate load or circumvent technical restrictions.

Normal search-engine indexing, lawful linking and data use permitted by law are not prohibited.

3. Contact Form and Submitted Content

The sender is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate, that they have the right to send the attachments and that the attachments do not contain malicious software or unlawful content.

The contact form is not an official or authenticated electronic administration channel. For urgent matters or where proof of delivery is required, the sender should use an appropriate separately verifiable means of communication.

The rules governing the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy and Data Processing Notice.

4. Copyright and Use of Content

The website’s own text, graphics, photographs, logo, layout and other individual original elements may be protected by copyright. Content originating from third parties is governed by the terms of the identified right holder.

For quotations and other free uses permitted by law, the source and, where stated, the author must be clearly identified. As a general rule, republication of a complete article, photographic series, graphic or dataset requires prior written permission unless the law or a licence attached to the content provides otherwise.

Detailed rules are provided in the Legal Notice.

5. Availability, Accuracy and External Websites

The Association seeks to maintain the continuous and secure operation of the website and the accuracy of its content, but availability may be temporarily limited by maintenance, technical faults or outages affecting external service providers.

Links to external websites are provided for information. The Association does not continuously monitor their content, data processing or availability and is responsible for them only to the extent required by mandatory law.

6. Amendments and Governing Law

The Association may amend these terms when the service or applicable law changes. An amended version will be published with its effective date and will not apply retroactively to legal relationships that have already ended.

Use of the website is governed by Hungarian law, in particular Act CVIII of 2001, Act LXXVI of 1999 on Copyright and the Hungarian Civil Code. Contact: info@npe.hu.
